Shimpi no Shima

The resumption of Shichifuku Imo, which had been actively cultivated in Amakusa until about 20 years ago, was completed by Sake Brewery working with farmers for more than 5 years while facing the wild boars problem.  This is the shochu expressing the identity of Amakusa. Offer you a slight sweetness and a refreshing taste due to its characteristic, which is strong starch and a low oil content.

天草で20年ほど前まで米の代わりとして盛んに栽培されていた七福芋の再開を、酒造が5年ほど前から農家さんと取り組みイノシシ問題などと向き合いながら完成させた天草のアイデンティティを表現した逸品。七福芋はデンプンが強く、力強い発酵をし、また芋自体の油分は少ないのでほんのりとした甘さとすっきりとした飲み口が特徴。
